Shannon Winterhalter

Director

Shannon brings over eight years of preservation consulting experience working in regions throughout the country including the Upper Midwest, Southeast, Northeast, and the Mountain West. She also had the privilege of working for the Wisconsin State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), gaining first-hand experience of the review and approval processes.

 

Shannon has a passion for historic architecture and a deep knowledge base of technical preservations skills and project management. She has experience facilitating projects involving government oversight including coordination with numerous local, state, and national agencies such as the National Park Service.

 

Shannon’s specialties are architectural and history surveys, National Register nominations, local designation reports, and state and federal historic tax credit applications. Her portfolio also includes historic structure(s) reports, intensive surveys, preservation plans, project planning, and facilitating federal and state compliance review.
