Molly Burns

Molly brings a background in nonprofit design and planning, with experience facilitating projects alongside community members, city leaders, and preservation professionals. At New History, she contributes to as-built documentation and develops design solutions that respect character-defining features while adapting buildings to better serve contemporary community needs. With a foundation in community-engaged design, Molly’s approach centers on listening, contextual sensitivity, and collaborative process. Her past work includes neighborhood planning, public art coordination, and participatory design workshops that support public life and amplify overlooked narratives.
